Here are some of the rotes Jasmine uses on the reg.

Call the Shot
Entropy •
With this rote, she can flip a coin, or generate a random number, and predict whether an immediate action will succeed or fail. (Eventually, with Time *, longer or more distant actions can be predicted.)

Cram for that Exam
Mind •
While she’s currently not in school, one of the earliest techniques she learned from her mentor helped her there, and still helps her in other ways. Memorization is an important thing to both shamans and programmers. Since Jaz is both, she found the possibility of improving her memory to be irresistible. By making coffee with specially-prepared sun water in a coffeemaker marked with sigils of thought and memory, she can improve her recall for as long as the coffee remains in her system. A true boon for when you need to remember the entire textbook today.

Herbs in a Hurry
Life ••
Jasmine likes to cook, and also uses herbs in her practice. Her small herb garden can’t really keep up with the demand on its own, so she uses a drop of her own blood and a soft incantation over the water she gives them to make them sprout more quickly after being harvested.

Mind Shield
Mind •
This long-form ritual is one she sets regularly on herself, a standing rote that blocks incoming probes to her mind. She spends an extra success to expand the rote to Fortuno as well, ever since Chase invaded her familiar’s mind.

Making a Useful Thing
Spirit ••
This modestly-named rote is her version of making Talens, or one-use items with spirit bargains. The magic is in the infusion of the effect into the item, not in the bargain — she always uses willing spirits and bargains for their aid. The ‘Useful Thing’ is consumed to make an effect that draws on the spirit’s powers, not her actual magic. It is always coincidental, since it relies on the spirit’s Charms and not her magic. This is how she does things she shouldn’t be able to do with her spheres.

Purging Infection
Life ••
This simple rote can purge small simple life like bacteria and virii from a body, whether cleaning a wound or ridding oneself of a cold.

Scanning The Neighborhood
Spirit •
This rote allows Jaz to look around the immediate area and see what spirits are present, or have left airts (trails) nearby, hinting to their presence. It allows her to locate spirits with whom to bargain or interact (or, allow Fortuno to share Spirit Gossip).

Someone Else’s Face
Life ••
With this rote, Jaz can become a visually different person, even down to small adjustments to height and build. She can use this rote to deceive, but is more likely to use it to just heighten her own looks a little bit.

What’s Wrong?
Life •
This diagnostic rote allows her to pinpoint exactly what is wrong with someone or something living. She can see cancers, detect infections, and more, depending on the number of successes on the rote, along with supporting Ability rolls.

Where’s My Peeps?
Entropy • Mind • Spirit ••
With this rote, she can peer past the Gauntlet and get a sense of not only what Spirits are about, but which ones are likely to frequent this location. She can also tell which ones are likely to be welcoming or hostile to her if she chooses to interact with them. (Add Correspondence •• to get this information over a wider distance.)

Wish Me Luck

With a hand on someone’s shoulder and a whisper in her breath and voice of ‘Good luck!’, Jasmine can influence someone’s fortune by adding another chance to roll for success on a single action. This doesn’t give anyone additional successes – just another shot at a roll. The roller must choose one of the two rolls as the ‘real’ one.
